Are you in the insurance, risk management, healthcare, life insurance or related professions?
We are opening up the InsuranceShark platform to authors outside our team. This is the opportunity for insurance pros or enthusiasts to write about tips for consumers, your professional expertise, career tips, great reads or inspirational stories from other insurance industry pros!
We are always looking to partner with Pros who can write unique, effective content. Although we prefer original content, we also syndicate existing articles.
Students and Young professionals here is an opportunity to publish to advance your career and gain recognition as a thought leader.
Our editorial team will still review all content and submissions for appropriateness and professionalism. We maintain high editorial standards for our outside authors.
We encourage insurance professionals and enthusiasts to submit an article for consideration/publication. (Not all articles are accepted).
We also encourage Insurance and Risk Management majors in college and experience professionals to submit articles for consideration.

Once submitted, our editor will reach out to you via email or phone to start the on-boarding conversation. We will have first response to authors by 1st Monday for all submissions submitted prior to Friday. Please note, it may take a few days for consideration based upon the high volume of submissions.
Information for Contributors
The following directions will help speed your article to publication.
Please include each of the following items.
- the abstract, Linkedin page, and short biographical statement of each author
- body (manuscript text)
- manuscript tables
- figure captions
- each figure (graphic, image, etc.)
- complete article, all tables and graphics in correct positions
We are not looking for unnecessary words, however, articles should be a minimum of 750 words, please.
The editor reserves the right to edit articles, to fit articles within available space, and to ensure conciseness, clarity and stylistic consistency.
